Wolfsburg have won the race to sign Bayern Munich striker Ivica Olic, according to a report from Bild.
The 32-year-old has allegedly agreed to a two-year contract with Felix Magath’s side.
A contract has yet to be signed, but that is said to be a formality, with the player and Wolfsburg having finalised negotiations.
Olic has found playing time hard to come by this season, having made just 21 appearances in all competitions, for a total of 466 minutes, scoring only two goals.
The Croatia international had been linked with Lazio, and there has been contact with MLS side Seattle Sounders, but Magath has long been interested in the player and appears to have closed a deal for the experienced forward.
Should Olic’s signing become official, Wolfsburg will be his fourth Bundesliga team after Bayern, Hamburg and Hertha Berlin.
